Simulation model of unity power factor uninterruptible power supply topology using single-phase matrix converter

This paper presents a computer simulation model of the unity power factor uninterruptible supply (UPS) topology using single-phase matrix converter (SPMC) that focuses on switching integration for both rectifier and inverter operations. The proposed integrated switches capable controlling SPMC to operate as operation charge DC battery during normal switch an outage conditions continuously instantaneously single circuit. use circuit can solve typical UPS system requires at least two separate circuits, thus contributing higher semiconductor losses complicated control circuits. With topology, it improve density electronics resulting in low losses. active filter (APF) function has been used current waveform follow shape sinusoidal reference be phase with voltage waveform, reduce total harmonic distortion (THD) level factor. To verify operation, selected results are presented, work done through MATLAB/Simulink.
